What you have to do if you get a vertigo attack?
- Sit or lie down during an episode of vertigo. You might lose your balance.
 - Avoid sudden movement, watching television, or reading.
 - Use good lighting at night.
 - Use a cane for more stability.
 - Do not drive.
 - Avoid working on high areas or operating machines.
 - Return to normal activities gradually.
 - Avoid consuming foods and beverages high in salt. This will increase fluid retention and provoke vertigo.
